We’re proud to announce that we have reached a significant milestone in our company history, with the recent installation of our 10,000th VisNet Hub.
Since the first VisNet Hub was installed in June 2019, we have been lucky enough to experience exponential growth and there have now been more than 22,000 VisNet monitoring and restoration units dispatched, including the VisNet Hub, Guard and ALVIN Reclose 2 devices, protecting over 3.5 million homes and businesses in the UK.

The importance of increased monitoring has never been clearer for DNOs, with the increased pressure being placed on the power grid as the UK migrates to low carbon technologies such as Electric Vehicle (EV) chargers and heat pumps. According to data from the Government, there are 840,000 EV’s on the roads, a number that is increasing at a rapid rate year-on-year.
