VisNet® View
Pole-mounted Low Voltage overhead line monitoring. Change the way you view your network.
The VisNet View delivers enhanced grid-edge intelligence and visibility for pole-mount LV transformers and associated feeders to DNOs by pushing actionable insights to the network edge. Giving visibility to capacity constraints, faults, pre-faults and elements of pole health providing decision-grade ED2 and ED3 evidence to those who need it.
Gain a clearer view of your electrical network with the VisNet View
The VisNet View builds on the success of our award-winning VisNet Hub in a compact, pole-mounted form that is specifically designed for overhead low voltage networks.
The launch of the View allows DNOs to establish a full and trusted picture of LV visibility across their entire network to support ED2 and ED3 evidence building and post-event analysis.
Providing in depth measurement and insights on up to 2 feeders in real-time, the View part is a complete LV grid-edge intelligence ecosystem that gives you actionable data insights through a suite of Applications. It is unrivalled in its ability to record real-time data and facilitate evidence-led decisions allowing capacity headroom to be used more confidently and reinforcement to be better targeted.
In addition, its reliability functionality supports preventative maintenance of pre-faults and the identification of real-time faults, thus reducing power outages and minimising Customer Interruptions (CI) and Customer Minutes Lost (CML) and supporting vulnerable customers in hard-to-reach areas.
The View features enhanced IP65 weather protection, with UV resistance and the ability to operate in extreme temperatures, from -30° to 65°. In the event of a power interruption, the View is supplied with a ‘last gasp’ system that captures and sends a final data package, also triggering an alarm to alert the user.
The VisNet View is a market-leading product supported by pole-tilt functionality. This useful insight monitors changes in the pole’s angle over time relative to its position at installation. Any significant movement can indicate potential issues such as structural deterioration of the pole, accidental impact (e.g. from vehicles or machinery), ground movement or subsidence, or changes in mechanical loading from the overhead lines it supports (for example due to conductor tension, wind loading, ice accretion, or re-stringing activities). When detected, a pole-tilt alert highlights that further inspection may be required.
Combine the View with VisNet Detect Pro, our intuitive dashboard that enables you to identify issues quickly by visualising actionable insights for 24/7 network analysis.
